Our film products

At Bauerschmidt, you receive customised films from a single source. From development and production through to printing, we offer you the complete value chain. Our product range includes flat film, tubular film and side-gusset tubular film in shrunk and non-shrunk versions, bags, sacks and Y-shrink hoods in various materials and designs.

All films are manufactured to the highest quality standards and are 100%
recyclable. On request, we can add recycling labels,
the Green Dot, or print them according to your specifications.

PE Films

LDPE films

Properties: Soft, flexible, tear-resistant, highly transparent
Applications: Food and pharmaceutical packaging, protective covers, sacks, adhesive closure bags
Available as: Flat film, tubular film, semi-tubular film, side-gusset tubular film
Thicknesses: 17 – 250 µm

HDPE films

Properties: Firm, crinkly, high tear strength
Applications: Protective covers, construction films, industrial packaging
Available as: Flat film, tubular film, semi-tubular film, side-gusset tubular film
Thicknesses: 6.5–200 µm

Coex Films

Using the co-extrusion process, we extrude various PE materials into an optimised film with reduced thickness.

Birbalin

Birbalin is our specialty film. Thanks to an optimised material composition, we achieve the same stability and tear strength with a significantly lower film thickness. Birbalin technology is available for all our PE films and can be individually adapted to your requirements.

Bio Films

Our biodegradable films are made from plant-based raw materials (e.g., cornstarch, potato starch) and are biodegradable. After use, they decompose completely into water, CO₂, and biomass – without leaving any harmful residues.

Regenerate Films

Sustainability starts in-house. With our regranulation system, we feed production waste directly back into the raw material cycle. This produces high-quality recycled-content films.
