1000 new trees for a greener future

In April, the Bauerschmidt Folien Group team dedicated itself to an important and forward-looking task: together with 14 employees, we planted 1,000 trees! This initiative was not only a contribution to environmental protection but also an impressive team event that will be remembered by us all.

 

Why Plant Trees?
Trees are indispensable for our environment. They produce oxygen, store CO2, and provide habitats for numerous animal species. Furthermore, they contribute to climate improvement, filter pollutants from the air, and protect against erosion. With our planting campaign, we aim to actively contribute to environmental protection and support the positive effects of reforestation.

 

Preparation and Planning
Preparations for the tree-planting campaign began in March. A suitable site near Löbesberg in the Kleinschmalkalden district, which urgently required reforestation, was selected. Together, we opted for a mix of climate-adapted tree species such as Douglas fir, silver fir, and sycamore maple, which are optimally suited to local conditions and promise a high survival rate.

 

The Big Day
At noon on planting day, we gathered at the planting site, full of drive and good spirits. Equipped with spades, gloves, and plenty of energy, we set to work. The 14 employees formed small teams, each responsible for specific areas and guided by a forester. This division of labor allowed us to progress efficiently and quickly.

 

Teamwork and Community
The tree-planting campaign was not only a contribution to the environment but also an excellent team-building event. We worked hand in hand, helped each other, and experienced how valuable and enriching collaborative work in nature can be. The motivation and cohesion within the team were palpable.

 

A Sustainable Success
Thanks to the great commitment of all participants, we achieved our goal: 1000 new trees now adorn the site and contribute to improving our environment. However, this initiative will not be the last. We are already planning further projects and look forward to actively contributing to sustainability in the future.

We would like to thank all employees for their tireless dedication and enthusiasm. Without your support, this project would not have been possible. A big thank you also goes to the supervisors and foresters who guided and supported us with their expertise and experience.

Together, we have made an important contribution to the environment and demonstrated that teamwork can achieve great things. We are already looking forward to the next projects and to continuing to shape our environment sustainably.
